1. What’s your government name? And how old are you? Give the people a little background about you, who you are, where you from etc…

My name is Robert Palermo and I’m 23 years old from South Brunswick, New Jersey. I’m a mix of Italian, Puerto Rican, Dominican, & Peruvian. A crazy mix if you ask me haha.

2. What is the meaning behind your rap name?/Where did it come from and why did you choose it?

The meaning behind my rap name ‘Fame’ is that my government name, ‘Robert’, stands for “bright fame”. A long time ago when I was in 7th grade, my teacher made us look up what our name was, and at the time that’s when I started rapping so I took that name from there. I chose it also because it had an irony to it. Who doesn’t want “Fame”? Think about it….

3. How long you been in the game for?

For about 10 years on and off honestly. It wasn’t till last year though when I put out my material on the internet. Basically, I only consider myself rapping professionally for a year and change. Back then, I was just dappling with it.

4. How did you get into the game?

One of my best friends in grade school started writing rhymes in the marble notebook. I became interested, and was introduced to Eminem after. Then I was like, shit if he can do it then I can to.

5. So why do you rap? Is it like a hobby or a career move?

I rap because I love it man. If I could make it into a career I would. Who doesn’t  like making money off of something that they love to do you know?

6. Who inspires you/Who is your favorite rapper?

So many people inspire me. Right now though, Logic and YONAS are my top favorites.

7. What are you trying to bring to the game?

Originality and substance. I don’t hate any genre of rap (i.e. club, trap, etc) but I feel that more people need to hear the deeper side and realness of lyrics. It’s cool every now and then to listen to the club music, but let’s not forget what music is really all about…

8. What’s your favorite song or project you ever came out with?

My favorite project is probably my most recent, “.Z.O.O.M.”. I released that back in Oct 2012. I love it because it defines me. Nothing but real, serious songs.

9. You got any projects coming out in the near future? If so, what are they?

Only time will tell haha. I just released my last video for 2012, a cover to Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me”. You should definitely check that out. My boy also did a guitar solo at the end, he kills it. Aside from that, 2013 I’m just looking to do more music videos and shows. That’s the FamePlan.

And finally where can the people find you at, online?
