1. What’s your government name? And how old are you? Give the people a little background about you, who you are, where you from etc…

My government name is Jeremy Lamont Belcher. I hate my middle name lol. I’m 18 years old, from the Grimesland/Greenville area in NC. I attend College student at NC A&T SU I guess you’d call me a deep person through my music? But fuck it I love to party man ahaha. I’m just another nigga at the end of the day.

2. What is the meaning behind your rap name? Where did it come from and why did you choose it?

To be honest, at the time I created it, it didn’t mean anything. It sounded cool, and even now, I find myself wanting to change it to  make it more meaningful. But, now, it means a lot more to me. I’ve built this unique name from the ground up. Like, if you search it, I’ll be the first thing to pop up. you can’t beat that! So I love it now, it means so much to me.

3. How long you been in the game for?

Ah damn. I recorded my first song waaaaay back in 7th grade. So I’m going on my sixth year rapping. I started making beats in 9th grade, so that’s about four years with production.

4. How did you get into the game?

I had always really been into music even before 7th grade. But one day, I was in the neighborhood playing ball, and this dude walked up and said that anyone who wanted to rap or sing could record at his place, he was like 3 years older. I immediately stopped playing ball, went home and got my song book, then lied to my parents and told them I was walking to my best friend’s house.

5. So why do you rap? Is it like a hobby or a career move?

I honestly can’t see myself doing anything else. I’ve never had a job before haha. Sometimes, you ever just have these thoughts and you don’t quite how to sort them out? Well, rapping does that for me. I just wanna be heard, I got a lot to say. And plus, I’d love to be able to live off of my passion. So, there’s multiple reasons, man.

6. Who inspires you/Who is your favorite rapper?

Wow! I take inspiration from so many different places. Not to the point that I’m “biting” but, I just want to make the type of music that I listen to, ya know? So, I try to learn different rapping skills and techniques to make myself into what I see as the ultimate rapper. I’ll say Kendrick’s my favorite, next probably Cole.

7. What are you trying to bring to the game?

Just a new way to do things. Especially on the production side of things. Not many people rap AND produce. I feel like that would make you more complete as an artist. So I guess what I’m trying to do is use my composing background with band and music theory classes, and bring complete artistry back into our genre.

8. What’s your favorite song or project you ever came out with?

Each project of mine gets better than the next haha. Its all about progression. I just wrote this one track for my next project that I really fell in love with.

9. You got any projects coming out in the near future? If so, what are they?

I’m not sure if I should drop the name yet lol, but fuck it. The track’s called “Innocent Eyes” and the album’s name is “The Age of Innocence” it should be dropping sometime in either January or early February. It’s going to be released as a free album. I see y’all are interviewing Cueue too. He’s on it. And also I’ve got a little something else in the works, but I can’t spill the beans on that one yet, its not my call. Maybe a beattape with my homie Canis Major. He’s making some moves in the world of production right now, and actually, he just dropped a beattape, check it out.

And finally where can the people find you at, online?
